My apt had a pet urine odor when I moved in, and the management replaced the carpet after complaining the first month. The apt was not freshly painted either when I moved, they claimed it was painted 6 months prior to my move in. After living in this apt for 9 months, and complaining about the pet odor on a regular basis. I do not want to remain here another 3 months with this odor, along with the tiny mites, and mold around my window sills. When the carpet was replaced, it was done in 2 hours and was told by carpet professionals that was not enough time to properly treat the concrete for pet odors.
