Carpet Cleaning...Odor Removal!? I am trying to get rid of that horrible urine smell, left by my puppy! I'v been told that Vinegar and warm water works, so i rented a steam cleaner..cleaned the carpets with the store bought cleaner, then mixed 1 part vinegar and 3 parts water and went over them again. I can still smell the pee! Any other remedies anyone knows of that REALLY works well for getting rid of urine smells? |

if you go to the pet shop they sell the proper enzime to remove the smell , keep the window open to air out the room . Use pure white vinegar on the stain without mixing it wih water, let it soak in and then shampoo .
